December 2018

The season of lights has officially begun!

November 2018

Welcome! Hope you are enjoying this chilly, but beautiful season. Here in sunny Florida we've been bundled up with weather in the forties. That may not sound too bad to you, but trust me, for us Floridians...Brrrr! Nothing a sweet, delicious mug of hot cocoa can't fix. For me, it's been a busy, exciting year. Lots of holidays, family, celebrations, book readings, school visits, musical performances, radio podcast and more. I've had the pleasure of reading and singing with old and new friends, and love sharing my joy of writing books, songs and musicals. And I'm ecstatic to share a new addition to my creative life...I am now represented by Jennifer Wills and Nicole Resciniti of the Seymour Agency! I'm hoping to share some good news soon.

Stay warm

October 2017

Happy Autumn, y'all! It was a busy, crazy summer, and this Floridian gal is glad hurricane season is almost over and cooler weather is finally upon us. Some exciting things happened since my last post. The highlight was signing a Hanukkah board book with Lerners Publishing Group/Karben Publishing to be released in 2019. Can't wait to share it with you. I also  have lots of new manuscripts in the works, and music is once again filling my days. Happily, I am back in the studio recording  two new children's music CDs. Did I mention how much I love recording? I do, I do, I do! Enjoy those turning leaves.

Peace and Pumpkin Lattes,

Joni

March 2017

It has been an exciting few months! The release of my middle grade novel, Coby Ryan Harris is Officially Fat. Lots of radio airplay and songs featured on WOS Radio's award winning podcasts. Purim shpiels. Seeing a live performance of my children's musical, RED. And finally completing the lybretto and songs for my new musical based on Jaimie Engle's middle grade novel, Clifton Chase and the Arrow of Light. I love being a writer! Next stop...book readings, recording, writing and more writing. One project I am especially excited about is performing for Peace Soup, an interfaith gathering at the Taoist Tai Chi Society in Dunedin, Florida on March 26. Like the title of my children's musical CD, We Can Make the World Go 'Round, I truly believe when people from all faiths and beliefs come together in peace, wonderful things can happen.

Peace out.

Joni
